Lynne Prentice - Biography

“The lifestyle I gravitate to is not a simple one. Enjoying many things, disliking very few, constantly on the move, I am very rarely bored.

The inspiration for my painting comes to me in bits and pieces as I move throughout my day and flows onto the canvas in much the same manner.

I am always surprised that the culmination of all my hectic and scattered painting sessions produces images that appear quiet and serene.”

Lynne also owns and operates the Prentice Gallery, Fine Art and Custom Framing in the village of Mendocino. The gallery represents many local artists and provides other galleries, artists, residents and visitors of Mendocino County with custom framing services.

Lynne lives in Fort Bragg with her husband Marc and her son Colton.
